Ground Level on Dimensional Spacers

This system is used for traditional Patio/Pathways, Overlay on Solid Surfaces, and Permeable Base Systems

The recommended Installation of these tiles at ground level is using a paver base system on a small grain leveling sand. The benefits are that the system provides a smooth/level surface that assists with the weight distribution into the subbase, offers a layer of insulation to prevent freeze/thaw damage, and provides a consistant support throughout the lifespan of the installation.

A secondary option is to install the Tiles in a similar fashion to traditional paving brick with a 6”gravel subbase and 1” sand/crusher dust leveling layer.

Aluminum Support Rail

This system is applicable for Freestanding Decks/Patios, Roof Top Deck areas, and Temporary Installations.

This is a revolutionary system that no longer requires a costly and time consuming waterproof membrane to be installed before the tile but rather allows any water to permeate through the spacing between the tile and flow directly to the ground just as other deck systems would. In this system the tiles are installed on a traditional Wood frame deck in a “floating” manner where the tiles sit on a support rail but aren’t affixed. This makes replacing any damaged tiles a simple process that only takes mere minutes.

The wood frame deck should include an on-center spacing no larger than 400mm(16”) and typical construction practices consistent with standard wood or composite decking products. An aluminum rail is then installed perpendicular to the joist direction and spacers are inset into the rail based on the size of tile used. The layout of rails and spacers is project specific based on the shape and features the deck is designed with I.E. stair locations, direction and size of tile. There are a variety of finishing options for the edge based on desired aesthetic, the final system needs to include a fixed material border or bonded exterior row to prevent the inner tiles from horizontal movement

Fixed or Adjustable Pedestal System

This system is designed for Rooftop Patios/Decks or any project that needs to accommodate a level install on a sloped base

Adjustable pedestals allow for a level surface to be installed over a sloped Roof or Deck Area with minimal preparation. Base slope correctors can accomodate upto a 5 degree slope and Pedestals can be purchased in ranges from 3mm - 300+mm so this is a flexible system that allows for seamless installations in any application.

Fixed pedestals offer a fast, cost effective solution to any overlay application. With ranges from 2mm to 30mm, there is options available that can be installed over any variability in the existing base. This could be anything from providing a new surface to damaged concrete slab or recovering existing Vinyl decking. The options are only limited by your imagination
